We strongly recommend entering test data into each of your data forms. Often this is helpful in exposing data issues before moving a project to "production" status. Once the project has been moved to production you will not be able to easily edit the project fields in real time. However, you will be able to move the project to draft mode and make modifications, which will then need to be approved by a REDCap administrator before taking effect. Some data fields may be impossible to change once in production mode. Steps how to test it:
1. To enter data, select the form or survey you would like to do it with. These are located under Data Collectionon the tool bar on the left side of the page. (Circled in red in picture below). The selections available on the list differ depending on the type of project you are creating.

2. Next, the box below will show up, This is used to enter a new participant or select an existing one. After a participant is selected, the form or survey appears. Image Modified
3. Now, enter data here and save it to verify if it is working correctly. Once the project is moved to production, the fake data will be erased. However, if you like, you can transfer the data that is already entered. |
