NOTE: Per University Policy, real data should NEVER be collected in development mode. Projects must be moved to production before you may start to collect real data.

Review REDCap 101 guides
After your project has been approved, it is in Development mode. In Development mode you will build & test your project BEFORE real data collection may begin.
Consider Record Keeping:
Consider if your project will utilize surveys:
Will you utilize a public survey link or build a private survey?
Build your Instruments
Copy entire Project OR copy Forms/Instruments from one project to another
Test your project

Development Mode
Request to move your project to production
NOTE: Per University Policy, real data should NEVER be collected in development mode.to ensure your survey(s) distribute as expected before sending to real participants in production mode
Submit Production Request
How to request your project be moved to Production by a RedCap Admin
Only after your Production Request has been approved by a REDCap Administrator may real data collection begin
