For anyone that has a University of Utah ID to become a REDCap user, do the following:
- Go to: https://redcap01.brisc.utah.edu/ccts/redcap/
Sign in with your U of U ID and password
- Fill out and submit the form that comes up, use campus email address
- You will then be sent an email to confirm that you’re a REDCap user
- The new user can now either create their own project or be added as a user to an existing project.

- To be added to an existing REDCap project, you’ll need to contact the project manager to give you access to it. They will need to follow the direction on: Add New User To Your Own Project
If new user does not have a University of Utah ID:
- All users must have a University of Utah ID to access REDCap and other BMIC tools. For REDCap use the PI should use use this link: https://www.hr.utah.edu/forms/affiliate.php to request a UU Affiliate ID. The Id is usually assigned with 24 hours. Once they have their ID they can be added to REDCap project(s). Instructions on how to add a user to a project are here: Add New User To Your Own Project
