Validation on Text Question

Text Box questions can be validated to specifically hold dates, email addresses, phone numbers, MRN, numbers, etc. To select a validation do the following:

 

  1. Add or edit a question and select the field type to be "Text Box"

  2. Click on the Validation box (circled in red in image below) and select what you'd like the question to be formatted to hold. (e.g. Date (M-D-Y), Email, Number, Integer, Phone Number, etc.)



  3. Click "Save" and the question will now be formatted to hold what you selected in the validation box.
