Text Box questions can be validated to specifically hold dates, email addresses, phone numbers, MRN, numbers, etc. To select a validation do the following:
- Add or edit a question and select the field type to be "Text Box"
- Click on the Validation box (circled in red in image below) and select what you'd like the question to be formatted to hold. (e.g. Date (M-D-Y), Email, Number, Integer, Phone Number, etc.)
- Click "Save" and the question will now be formatted to hold what you selected in the validation box.
