1. Check project settings. Instructions are at: Modify Project Purpose
A. Project must have a meaningful project name
B. Make sure the purpose of the project is not “Just for fun”
C. If it’s a research project, check if IRB number is entered
2. Test every form on project to make sure they are working and edited correctly
A. Enter test data into forms (This is helpful in exposing data issues before moving a project to “production” status)
3. Check first field on the first form to verify that it is unique and Not PHI
4. Select PHI identifiers
5. Export data and have statistician look at it to verify it meets his/her expectations.
