• How to Create Data Access Groups (DAGS)

  • Data Access Groups (DAGs) restrict viewing of data within a database. A typical use of Data Access Groups is a multi-site study where users at each site should only be able to view data from their site but not any other sites.

REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a HIPAA-compliant, secure web application for building and managing online surveys and data collection instruments, provided without charge to the University of Utah community and its collaborators.  Anyone who has a University of Utah ID can become a REDCap user by accessing https://redcap.ccts.utah.edu and completing the registration form.
