Modify Project Title, Purpose, etc.

  1. Login to REDCap and select project you would like to move to Production

  2. Navigate to "Project Setup"

  3. Click "Modify project title, purpose, etc."

     

  4. A box similar to the one displayed below will pop up, here is where you enter the Project title and select the purpose of the project.  It may ask for some more information depending on what the purpose of the project is.

    1. Do the following here:

      1. Verify that the project has a meaningful Project title

      2. Verify the purpose of the project

Be sure project purpose is not "Practice/Just for fun" unless this is a practice/test project which will only ever host test data.

Practice/Just for fun projects are NEVER moved to production and should NEVER contain real data.

5. If it's a research project, be certain that all questions in the pop up (shown in image below) are answered, including:

  • Name of P.I.

  • Email of P.I.

  • Name of P.I as cited in publications

  • IRB number

  • Select at least one option on the "Please specify:" list

  • Click "Save"
