Creating Reports
To create a report, click the “Create New Report” button on the “My Reports & Exports” tab. From there, you can name your report, set as public to create a public link, and add a description. Then, follow steps 1 through 4 to customize report, and click “Save Report” at the bottom.
For more detailed instructions, see the Create Report knowledge article.
Exporting Data
REDCap allows export of data in the following formats: CSV (raw data), CSV (labels), SPSS, SAS, R, Stata, and XML.
To export data, click “Export Data” for All Data or a select report, or “Make custom selections” to export data for certain fields/variables. From there, select your export format, de-identification options, additional export options, and advanced data formatting options, and click “Export Data”.
A new pop-up will appear, saying the data export was successful. Click the icon to download the exported file.

Statistics & Charts
REDCap has the option to display project data in graphic plots and descriptive stats. From the “My Reports & Exports” tab, click “Stats & Charts” button for the data or report you wish to see, or “Make custom selections” to select specific instruments.
