TRINETX: De-identified Dataset Request (Research Network)
Introduction
Once you have created a query in TriNetX, you may want to have the dataset provided to you for further analysis. This article will guide you through the process of requesting your cohort dataset.
Please note that after you submit your request for de-identified data, a member of CTSI will review the request to ensure coherence and would work with the investigator to make changes when necessary.
The request will go to TriNetX for approval. If your research is funded there will be a cost (Dataset for unfunded research is free).
A Dataset Release Form must be signed by the PI and TriNetX. A Members of the CTSI team will help coordinate the signing of the Dataset Release Form.
If you are requesting identifiable data, your request will be sent to the Data Science Team. Currently, identifiable data is only available via University of Utah Healthcare Organization(HCO)..
Note-Depending on cohort selection, dataset can be large. The CTSI Biomedical Informatics Core(BMIC) can help with data management and wrangling.
